Columbia City Chamber of Commerce offering Sleigh Rides

By Jennifer Zartman Romano

What better way to build a cherished holiday memory for your children than to take them on a sleigh ride through Morsches Park during the annual Wonderland of Lights.
On a half-hour tour of the light display, snuggled comfortably a horse-drawn sleigh, you'll have the chance to sing carols and enjoy the display at a slower pace to the sound of jingling sleigh bells and the clip-clop of horseshoes.
Once again this year, LaVern Yoder and his Clydesdale, Maple, are your hosts what we here at Talk of the Town feel is the most delightful way to enjoy the holiday display. Yoder is pleased to offer rides on a brand new sleigh this year -- one that easily accomodates up to six adults or a whole bunch of grandkids depending on how you line them up!
Rides are $23 (total - not per person) and must be reserved by calling the Columbia City Chamber of Commerce. Rides must be paid for in advance and since they're filling up fast, we advise you to make your reservations early to avoid being disappointed.
For more information, contact the Columbia City Chamber of Commerce at 248-8131.
