Sign up now for the 2011 CCHS Mini Cheerleading Camp, slated for August 1-5
Please join the Columbia City High School Cheerleaders in a cheerleading camp for girls entering Pre-K to sixth grade. This year's CCHS Mini Cheerleading Camp is slated for August 1-5, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Donald S. Weeks Gymnasium at CCHS.
Campers will be in small groups by grade. They will learn motions, jumps, cheers, chants and dance along with basic stunting and tumbling. Campers need to wear shorts, t-shirt, socks and tennis shoes. Any personal items should be labeled with name.
The fee for attending is $40 per child and includes a T-shirt, their picture in the newspaper and they will perform at halftime of our first home football game Friday August 26, 2011.
Additionally, the material learned during Mini Cheerleading Camp will be put together in a routine which will be performed for family on the final day of camp for family members to watch.
