First Snow of the Season

The first snowflakes of the season fell Thursday just after 2 p.m. in Whitley County -- delighting some, dismaying others. Overnight, a bit more snow fell and residents in some areas of the county awoke to a light blanket of snow on rooftops and vehicles, but it disappeared by early morning. With cold weather in the forecast, we might see much more snow in the near future.
