On Monday, the Whitley County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center welcomed an international guest.
Malte Bussmann of Fuerth, Germany, stopped by the Visitors Center to gather information about the community and reminisce with long-time friend Michael Rush of Columbia City. A German native, Bussmann lived in Columbia City for about two years several decades ago and came back this week to see the city and visit with friends. Bussmann looked forward to sampling some local cuisine and visiting shops in downtown Columbia City Monday.
The Whitley County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center is located at 128 West Van Buren Street on the north side of the Whitley County Courthouse Square.
