Michael Lude is featured artist in Chamber's Focus on the Arts initiative for October

From reports

The Whitley County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center has announced that Michael Lude is October's featured artist in the Chamber's Focus on the Arts initiative. Lude's work will debut in an artist's reception on Friday, October 6 from 5 to 7 p.m. and remain on display through the end of October.
A resident of Columbia City, Michael opened his first official business at the age of 19, selling artwork, attending events and charities as a portrait and caricature artist, as well as competing in national juried shows. He continued his art-focused business all throughout college and expanded into illustration for publications and newspapers while majoring in Art Management, Fine Art & Studio Art and Business Management.
Today, Lude is co-owner of Artists At Work and a game designer.
Locally, Lude has become very well known for his caricature work, recently sharing his work at the Columbia City Parks Department's Father Daughter Dance, the United Way of Whitley County, local events and at the Whitley County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center's 2017 EXPO. Lude's drawings were featured on the cover of the 2017 Whitley County Community Guide.
"As an artist I am well rounded in many different areas, but my number one love is oil paintings and portraiture," he said. "I mix creativity with realism, so my art may speak to my audience and multiple levels. There is nothing else in the world I would rather do than create artwork and share it with the world."
"I currently have my own art studio in town where I focus on painting personal artwork for my clients, like portraits, caricatures and other personal requests. I'm developing new ways of creating and selling art. I absolutely love what I do and couldn't be happier."
"We are excited to showcase Michael's work at the Chamber during the month of October," said Jennifer Romano, executive director of the Whitley County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center. "Michael is incredibly talented and we are honored to share his work with the community."
