Talk of the Town celebrates 10th anniversary

From reports

Today marks the 10th anniversary of the launch of this positive news website, Whitley County's Talk of the Town.
"When I launched the site, it was out of a need to highlight the many good things happening in our community," said owner and publisher Jennifer Zartman Romano. "So often, the positive news and the good deeds happening here are overshadowed by bad news. I wanted to create an environment where we truly champion our community and celebrate the reasons why Whitley County is such a great place. A lot has changed in our community and in our lives in the past 10 years, but it is great to still have a place focused on sharing good news about our community."
When Talk of the Town launched in 2007, it was the first news source in the community of it's kind to be fully online without a print edition. Today, it remains the only news source in Whitley County that is independently owned and operated.
"Thank you to our advertisers, the many people who've helped publicize what we're doing, to the many people who've given advice and ideas, who've included us in news they want to share, to those who've helped with news coverage and to our readers who've enjoyed Talk of the Town far and wide," Zartman Romano added. "I'm grateful to each of you and for supporting this endeavor to offer a place of cheer and goodwill about our community."
