Every office has that 'go-to' person, the one who knows where everything is located, the one who keeps the calendar organized, the person that coordinates the conference room schedule and keeps the office organized and running efficiently.
Once again this year, the Whitley County Chamber of Commerce and Visitor's Center invites local businesses and non-profits to celebrate and support those who contribute their time, talent and energy keeping the office in tip-top shape. The 2017 Thanks A Bunch Lunch will celebrate Administrative Professional Day by honoring administrative assistants, personal assistants, volunteers and others with a great lunch, door prizes and more.
This year's celebration will be held on Wednesday, April 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at by: Belle Haven in South Whitley. Sponsors for this year's event include: 1st Source Bank, Nancy L Zummack LLC - Life-Cycle Celebrant, Fort Wayne Metals and Preferred IT Group.
"The event is designed for any local businesses or non-profits wanting to celebrate with their staff, volunteers or other special people," said Jennifer Romano, executive director of the Whitley County Chamber of Commerce and Visitor's Center. "So often, key staff faithfully do their job day after day and this is the one day when we can show them how much we appreciate all they do every day throughout the year."
Tickets for this annual event are just $20 per person. Reservations can be made by calling the Chamber at (260) 248-8131 or via email at office@whitleychamber.com.
The deadline to RSVP is 12 p.m. on Friday, April 21.
