Teams from Eagle Glen, Big G's dominate at Chamber's annual golf outing

The annual Whitley County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center Golf Outing, held on August 16 at Eagle Glen Golf Course in Columbia City, was a great success due to the generosity of sponsors and the time of many volunteers who supported the event. 

The first place finishing team was the Eagle Glen Golf Course team which included Don Langeloh, James Heuer, Joe Ceruti and Mike Carpenter. They won with a score of 46. They donated their prize money to the Chamber. 2ndPlaceGolf18b.jpg

The second place finishing team with a score of 51 was the Big G's team. The team included Jamie Parrett, Chad Nicodemus, Andrew Zartman and Tom Harris. They also generously donated their prize money to the Chamber.

"We had a great outing this year and are so grateful for everyone who participated -- sponsoring, contributing items, volunteering on our committee and playing that day," said Jennifer Romano, executive director of the Whitley County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center. 

The event sponsor was PHP. Proceeds from the event supported the Whitley County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving as the advocate, resource and champion for businesses and organizations in Whitley County.
