Banks visits VA Northern Indiana Health Care System in Fort Wayne

From reports

Congressman Jim Banks (IN-03), Chairman of the House Veterans' Affairs Subcommittee on Technology Modernization that provides oversight of the Department of Veterans Affairs' (VA) electronic health records transition, today visited the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System in Fort Wayne.

"Today marked the first of several oversight visits with VA personnel who use electronic health records," said Banks. "Hearing directly from the clinicians and health informatics staff that use the current VistA/CPRS system about what they need in a new EHR system is a critical part of ensuring proper oversight of the modernization project. I look forward to continuing the conversation with VA staff as the implementation process moves forward."
