Annual Memorial Day Parade is Monday in Columbia City

Preparations are underway for American Legion Post 98's annual Memorial Day Parade in Columbia City today, Monday, May 27. Participants will begin lining up at 9:45 a.m. at Walnut Street in front of the former Marshall Middle School, now Eagle Tech. The Memorial Day Parade begins at 10:30 a.m. The parade travels south on Walnut Street, east on Van Buren Street then turns south on Madison Street and ends at Greenhill Cemetery. At the cemetery, a ceremony is help to recognize fallen veterans.
