Whitley County Chamber offers affordable insurance option to members

From reports

The Whitley County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center has teamed up with Lifestyle Health Plans to offer affordable healthcare solutions for all of our members - particularly for small businesses and non-profit organizations.
The plan boasts a robust wellness component with consumer-driven incentives and is offered to employers with two or more employees, with no limitations on industry sector. Incentives include deductible and cash-back credits for wellness activity, free telemedicine, free lab services, free diabetic testing supplies and more.
"We are very excited to be able to offer this exclusive opportunity for Chamber members to participate in an insurance plan, particularly for very small businesses and non-profit organizations who often are unable to offer this kind of benefit to employees," said Jennifer Romano, executive director of the Whitley County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center.
Whitley County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center members with a minimum two full-time positions are able to participate and will see premium savings averaging between 5-15%.
"Being able to provide insurance benefits such as the Lifestyle Health Plan offers a competitive advantage for our members as they seek and retain employees in the current job market. We have been researching opportunities for our members, particularly options open to small businesses and non-profit organizations, for more than two years," Romano added. "We believe this option will be attractive to our members. This is yet another reason why it makes good business sense to be a member of the Whitley County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center."
An information sessions for Chamber members or local companies or organizations who may be interested in learning more about the Lifestyle Health Plan is planned for Tuesday, August 20 at 3:30 p.m. at the Whitley County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center, 128 West Van Buren Street, in downtown Columbia City.
