Edward Melvin Reynolds, 98, of Wabash, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 9:05 p.m. at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. 
He was born June 17, 1909 in Wabash to Edward Stanton and Ada Mae (Eltzroth) Reynolds.
Mr. Reynolds was a 1927 graduate of Wabash High School.
He worked for Container Corporation 18 years, was a self-employed trucker and also worked at Wabash Tool Rental. He enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing and owned Boxer dogs.
He is survived by his five children, Donna L. (Delbert) Johnson of Columbia City, Jay (Barbara) Reynolds of Century, Florida, Greg Reynolds of Indianapolis, Julie Green of Fort Wayne, and Darren Reynolds of Lebanon; eleven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and twenty-three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nanette Ames, two great-grandchildren and a sister.
Funeral services will be held at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave. in Wabash on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 2 p.m. with David Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
