Zachariah D. (Zach) Gann, 17, of Pierceton died Tuesday, March 04, 2008 at 8:36 a.m. at the home of his grandparents in Goshen. He was born on September 29, 1990 in Maynard, Arkansas, to Eddie D. Gann and Julia L. (Hughes) Wozniak.

He was a lifetime Syracuse/Pierceton area resident. He was a sophomore at Whitko High School in South Whitley, IN and attended the North Webster Church of God.

He is survived by his mother, Julie Wozniak of Pierceton, his father, Eddie D. Gann of Maynard, Arkansas, two half-sisters,  Alicia Gann and Latasha Gann, both of Maynard, Arkansas, his maternal grandparents, James and Juanita Hughes of Goshen, a paternal grandmother, Opal Henderson of Kansas City, Kansas, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a half-sister, Heather Gann, and his paternal grandfather.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2008 at the Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington Street in Syracuse. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Boyer of the North Webster Church of God and Pastor Gary Lewis of the Cross-Wind United Methodist Church of Logansport officiating.

Memorial bequest may be given to the Regional Autism Center at Logan, P.O. Box 1049, South Bend, IN 46624. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
