Charles R. “Chuck” Grawcock, 29, of Anderson and a native of Columbia City, died Sunday, April 6, 2008. 
He was born July 7, 1978, in Columbia City, a son of Robert L. and Linda L. (Whitehead) Grawcock Jr. He graduated from Columbia City Joint High School and received his Bachelor Degree in Information Technology from Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne.
He was employed at Cooper Tire before beginning his employment at Best Buy in Castleton, later transferring to Muncie.
On September 21, 2007, he was united in marriage to Althea Bankston. They made their home in Anderson.
Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church was his church of confirmation.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Althea Bankston-Grawcock; his parents, Robert & Linda Grawcock of Columbia City; a sister, Brandie (Bill) Bohney of Carmel; a brother, Garrett Harter of Columbia City; and grandparents, Robert & Mary Lou Grawcock Sr. of Columbia City.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 10, 2008 at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 204 North Main Street, Columbia City, with visitation one hour prior to service. Visitation will also be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City.
The burial will be in South Park Annex Cemetery.
