Benny E. "Ben" Bradley, 76

Benny E." Ben" Bradley, 76, died Monday, May 26, 2008 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Born in Norton, Virginia, he was a 1949 graduate of Poling High School in Jay County, Indiana, and received an Associate Degree from International Business College. He was a Purchasing Agent with Midwestern United Life Insurance Company, retiring after 28 years of service in 1988.
In 1995, he retired as an auctioneer at AAA Auction with 15 years of service. He also preformed small engine repair.
Ben was a Corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a 40-year member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church where he sat on several committees and sang in the choir. He was also a member of the Indiana Auctioneer Association.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Leta "Lee" Bradley of Fort Wayne; sons, Chad L. (Garna) Bradley of Columbia City, Scott L. Bradley of Sebring, Florida; grandchildren, Gretchen (Troy) Moon of Fort Wayne, Justyn (Beth) Bradley of Jupiter, Florida; great-grandchildren, Teagen & Vaughn; sisters, Louise Call of Anderson, Indiana, Jeanette Shauver of Portland, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.
The service is 10 a.m. Friday at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 2417 Getz Roadwith calling 1 hour prior. Rev. Weber officiating. Calling also 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington RoadBurial in Greenlawn Memorial Park with Military Graveside Service.
