Danny L. Hoskins, 50, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at home surrounded by his family.

The son of the late Rita and Millard Hoskins, he was born July 31, 1957, in Fort Wayne. A proud 30-year member, he was actively involved with the Union Iron Workers Local 147 in Fort Wayne.

Surviving are his wife of 22 years, Eileen; children, Joshua Strack of Hoagland; Rita, Jacob and Rose Hoskins, all at home; grandchildren, Alyssa, Nolan and Daniel; brothers, Michael (Karen) Hoskins of Columbia City and Mark Hoskins of Hoagland; and sisters, Robin (Robin) West of Fort Wayne and Tanya (John) Jones of Leo.

A service is planned for 10:30 a.m. Friday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial in St. Joseph Hessen Cassel Cemetery. Preferred memorials to St. Joseph Hessen Cassel School.
