Sharon L. Jackson, 61, died Friday, May 16, 2008 at home.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and caregiver who loved spending time with her family. She was a blessing to all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.
Born on January 10, 1947, preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn Koogler and Leon Vanover.
Surviving are husband of 44 years, Ted Jackson Jr. of Churubusco; daughter, Angela (Steve) Parmenter of New Haven; sons, Ted Jackson III of Fort Wayne, Robert Jackson of Waynedale, Bill Jackson and Daniel Jackson, both of Churubusco; sisters, Diane Reid and Sandy Jastrzemski, both of Huntertown, and Patty Torres of Fort Wayne; and nine grandchildren, including Steve, Andrew and Staci Parmenter, Steve and Julee Jackson, Ted, Shane and Raven Jackson-Brown, and Amanda Gague; four great-grandchildren, including Jadelynn Parmenter, Ayden and Taylor Jackson, and Jayden Gague. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Kay Jackson; and her twin sister, Karen Hardin.
A service was held Monday at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont. Burial followed in Riverview Cemetery, Allen County.
