John K. Tupper, 61, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday, June 1, 2008, at Waters of Summit City.
A son of the late Lloyd and Marcelle Tupper, he was born November 25, 1946, in Indianapolis. He was a Corporal with the U.S. Marine Corp and a member and past commander of American Legion Post 47.
Survivors include two sons, Johnny (Lisa) Tupper of Fort Wayne and Paul Tupper of Washington D.C.; grandson, Dylan Tupper; companion, Kay Evans of Fort Wayne; three brothers, Don (Judy) Tupper of Columbia City, Bob Tupper and Tom (Brigette) Tupper; and two sisters, Barb (Dave) Geise and Marilyn (Max) Butler, all of Fort Wayne.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Gary Tupper. Service is 10 a.m. Thursday at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells Street. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
