Larry M. Brunson, 72

Larry M. Brunson, 72, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at his home.

Born Feb. 21, 1936, in Fort Wayne, he was

The son of the late Ray and opal (Forrest) Brunson, he was born February 21, 1936, in Fort Wayne.

He worked at NIPSCO, Fort Wayne for 39 years and retired in 1994. He was a U.S. Army Korean Conflict veteran. He was a member of the 9 Mile Horseshoe League. He loved to fish and was an avid bowler for 40 years in different leagues in the area.

He married Barbara A. Milks on Aug. 4, 1956, in Fort Wayne; she survives.

Also surviving are a son, Gary (Char) Brunson of Auburn; a daughter, Lisa Biggins of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren, including Jacob and Jennifer Biggins and Grace and Hannah Brunson; a brother, Jim (Marilu) Brunson; and a sister, Rebecca Ambrose of Columbia City.

He was also preceded in death by seven brothers, Vaughn, Darrell, Hugh, Forrest, Garth, Ray, and Leigh Brunson.

Memorial service is 7 p.m. Monday at Feller Funeral Home, Waterloo. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to Shriner's Hospitals for Children.
