Margaret Linette Kilgore Guenther, 72

Margaret Linette Kilgore Guenther, 72, of Albion, died at her home on June 13, 2008.

A daughter of Stanley Vernon and Mary Lee (Sturgill) Kilgore, she was born in McRoberts, Kentucky, on November 16, 1935. She graduated from Columbia City High School with the Class of 1954. Following graduation, she lived in Illinois, Michigan, Texas, Hawaii and Florida. She returned to Indiana in 2004.
Survivors include a son, Brian (Laura) Sudis of Kansas; Wanda Sudis and Kathryn Walford, both of Albion; four step-children, including Jonathon Guenther, James Guenther, Julie Mullins and Scott Guenther, all of Texas; her husband, Henry (Red) Guenther; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and eight step-grandchildren. Additional survivors include brothers Robert Kilgore of Arizona and Bill Kilgore of Fort Wayne; and four sisters, including Una Rondeau of Wisconsin, and Elizabeth Sponaugle and Rita McElroy, both of Columbia City, and Emma Spink of Auburn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her twin sister, Mary Jeanette Kilgore Bowling, a sister, Barbara Louise Kilgore; brothers-in-law, Richard Rondeau, George Sponaugle and Charles McElroy, a nephew and a stepson.
A memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 28, at the Columbia City Church of the Brethren with calling one hour prior.
