Leonard E. “Coxie” Cox, 92, of Columbia City, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2008, at Covington Manor. 
He was born on May 26, 1916 to Henry and Alma Cox.
He enjoyed life along with bowling, horseshoes, and sponsoring a team in the Arcola Women’s Softball league.
“Coxie” is survived by his grandchildren Len Lampe of Churubusco and Sue M. Dant of Cromwell; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy; an infant son; and daughter Carolyn Lampe.
Funeral service will be on Saturday 1:00 p.m. at Covington Memorial Funeral Home with calling there two hours prior.
Memorial Contributions can be made to the Saturn Christian Church Building fund or to the Salvation Army.
