Suzan "Suzie" Hofer, 42, of Fort Wayne, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2008 at Parkview North.
Born February 8, 1966 in Warsaw, she graduated from Northrop High School in 1984 and from Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing in 1987. She was employed as an obstetrics nurse at Parkview for eight years and was a former home health care nurse.
She was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church where she was an occasional flutist, Bible School teacher and active in the children's choir. She volunteered as the nurse, uniform and guard mom for the Northrop Band and as a FOB mom. She also volunteered as room mother for her children's school activities and as a parent volunteer for the Northeast School of Dance Recital.
Survivors include her husband, Michael and children Stephanie, Phillip and Katie all of Fort Wayne; parents Vernon and Marcille Fawley; brother Gregory Fawley, all of Fort Wayne; in-laws John and Barbara Hofer of South Whitely; brothers-in-law Mark Hofer of Goshen; Herb Hofer of Valparaiso; Mark Clark of South Whitley; Jim Clark of Tallahassee, Florida and Chris Clark of Avilla.
A service was held Wednesday at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Fort Wayne with Pastor Phillip Emerson and Pastor Stacy Downing officiating. Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery.
