Carol A. Nevil, 72, passed away at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2008, at The Oaks, Columbia City.

Born on April 8, 1936, in Whitley County, she was the daughter of Harold W. and Evelyn P. (Hart) Ragan. 

She lived in various places, attending Central High School, Fort Wayne, returning to Whitley County in 1970.

For 23 years, she was employed by Precision Plastics, Columbia City , retiring in 2000. She also worked part-time at Miller's Merry Manor for 14 years. She was a member of the Columbia City Church of the Nazarene. 

Survivors include her two brothers, Robert L. (Rose) Anderson and James (Sharon) Ragan both of Fort Wayne; a nephew, Frank (Karla) Anderson of Fort Wayne; five nieces, Teresa (Troy) Wells, Vicki (Billy) McClure, Rachel Ragan, Kathy Wrogeman, and Tracy (Eric) Demerley all of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Clifford Nevil. 

To honor Ms. Nevil's request, there will be no visitation.  Memorial service is at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 27, 2008, at Columbia City Church of the Nazarene, 506 N Main Street, Columbia City, with Pastor Tom Beers officiating.

Memorials may be given in memory of Ms. Nevil to Columbia City Church of the Nazarene.
