Charles H. Kirkpatrick, 93, lifetime Albion resident and business owner passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2008, at his residence in Albion. 
Charlie was born on March 2, 1915 in Jefferson Township, Noble County, to Earl and Florence Rodin Kirkpatrick.
On December 3, 1954, he married Mary Michaels and she survives.
Charlie was the retired owner of the Chain O Lakes Resturant. Charlie also loved bowling, woodworking and his flower beds. Loved the 12 years he worked for the Albion Park Department. Also took care of the Albion car wash for 13 years.
Charlie was a Albion High School graduate and a member of the Albion Lions Club and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Among his survivors include his wife, Mary, and children; John and Linda Carson of Fort Wayne, Sharon and John Pequignot of Columbia City, Charleen and Carl Donley of Fort Wayne, Shirley and Tom Crist of Rome City, Rich and Shirley Clouse of Tri Lakes and Michael and Nancy Clouse of Albion. Additionally, he is survived by 14 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Bob and Joesue Kirkpatrick, both of Albion, and a sister, Barbara Kirkpatrick.
He was preceeded in death by his parents and two sisters, Mary Herendeen and Edna Bixby.
Funeral Services will be on Friday, September 12, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at the Brazzell Funeral Home, Albion Chapel. Pastor Larry Rice Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Albion. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 11, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Brazzell Funeral Home, Albion Chapel.
