Elizabeth Rose Wall, 53, of Columbia City, died Monday morning, October 27, 2008, at her home. She had been in failing health for the past two years. 
She was born February 8, 1955, in Sullivan, Indiana, a daughter of Cisco R. and Jeanette I. (White) May. In 1964, her family moved to Columbia City from Sullivan. She completed her education at Columbia City Joint High School.
On June 7, 1980, she was united in marriage to Jerome M. Wall. They made their home in South Whitley before moving to Columbia City.
An advanced EMT for Whitley County EMS, she was employed at Miller’s Merry Manor and later Wal Mart.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Jerry; a daughter, Amanda (Jason) Esterline of South Whitley; a granddaughter, Holly Marie Esterline; a brother, Danny (Linda) May of Warsaw; and four sisters, Lois (Paul) Sheets of Columbia City, Linda (Jan) Carter of Columbia City, Alice (Larry) Crawford of South Whitley and Bonnie (John) Fitzpatrick of Warsaw.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Carol May.
The funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City with Rev. J. Phillip Blake officiating. The visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
