Evelyn E. Bierbaum, 90, died at 11:15 a.m. Friday, Oct. 24, at The Oaks Nursing Home in Columbia City.
The daughter Benjamin and Mabel (Hapner) Keiser, she was born in Cadillac, Michigan, on April 12, 1928. She was a Columbia City resident.
The wife of Alfred Bierbaum, she was a member of the Dunfee Missionary Church.
She is survived by her husband, Alfred; two sons, Edward of Larwill and Lawrence of Arvada, Colorado; a daughter, Janis (Keith) Saggars of Columbia City; a sister, Helen Scheele of Columbia City; a brother, Earl (Barb) Keiser of Columbia City; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great- great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral services was held Tuesday, October 28, 2008, at 1 p.m. with the Reverend Dennis Rowe officiating. Interment followed at Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
Preferred memorials are the Dunfee Missionary Church or Heartland Home Healthcare and Hospice.
