Nicolina “Nicki” Vorndran, 79, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, at her residence.
Born November 10, 1928, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Annibale and Anna (Lotti) Cutigni. She was a graduate of Central High School.
She was a homemaker and member of Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
She loved her husband, family and grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing and her many friends.
Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Victor W. Vorndran; children, Debra (Bill) Voors, Kathy (Kerry) Kaufmann, Vicki (Ned) Wyss, Jennifer (Steve) Smith, John (Deb) Vorndran, Matthew (Lynda) Vorndran, and Mark (Marie) Vorndran, all of Fort Wayne, and Joel (Mary Ann) Vorndran of Columbia City; sister, Iole Memmer of New Haven; 23 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Louie and John Cutigni; and sister, Christina Eloph.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Mungovan & Sons Memorial Chapel, 2114 S. Calhoun St., with Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials for Masses to the Parish or donor's choice.
