Susan Bredemeyer, 44, died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, at Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.
Born in Fort Wayne, she was a Professor of Nursing with the University of St. Francis for 16 years. She graduated from Elmhurst High School in 1983 and Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing in 1986. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana Wesleyan and her Masters degree from Ball State University in 1993.
She loved her family, pediatric nursing and her many friends.
Survivors include her parents, Elmer T. and M. Louise Bredemeyer of Fort Wayne; brothers, Steve (Sue) Bredemeyer of Columbia City and Jim (Angela) Bredemeyer of Roanoke; and nieces and nephews, Charles, Graham, Brent, Aubrey, Anissa, and Alena.
Service is 10 a.m. Monday at The Chapel, 2505 W. Hamilton Road, with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Mark Clough officiating. Calling also from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
