Catherine M. Winter, 90

Catherine M. Winter, 90, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, at Heritage Park.
Born July 9, 1918, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Edward Hazelett Sr. and Cora (Benton).
She was a homemaker and member of Knights of Columbus, Rosary Society at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church and American Legion Post 296.
Surviving are her sons, Ronald L. Winter of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Dennis L. (Carol) Winter and Bruce M. Winter, both of Fort Wayne, and Steven D. Winter of Sacramento, California; daughter, Deborah A. (John) Noll of Fort Wayne; daughter-in-law, Cathy Jo Winter; grandchildren, Mark, Joel, Erin, Shannon, Heather, Jill, Daniel, Johnathan, and Kalisa; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herbert H. Winter; a son, Timothy A. Winter; a sister, Maxine Hazelett; and brothers Joseph Hazelett and Edward Hazelett.
Prayer service is 9:30 a.m. Monday at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Monday at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, with Rosary service at 6:30 p.m. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.
Preferred memorials to Most Precious Blood Catholic Church and Southern Care Hospice.
