Deloris I. Zink, 89, formerly of Fort Wayne, died Monday, Nov. 10, 2008, at Parkview Whitley Hospital in Columbia City.
Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Virginia Ryan.
She was a member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, Fort Wayne. She retired from Luginbill Wire & Die after 15 years of service.
She is survived by her children, Joyce (Gerald) Boxberger of St. Joe, Janice Zink of Columbia City and Donald (Donna) Zink of Auburn; a sister, Elsie Alter of Fort Wayne; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great- great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, Orville C. Zink, in 1980; and sons, Thomas and William Zink.
Service is 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, 7215 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling 30 minutes prior. The Father Mark Gurtner officiating. Calling also from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Road 930 E., New Haven, with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials to Masses.
