Lois Margaret Trump, 82, of Columbia City, passed away at 9:36 p.m. on Monday, November 3, 2008 at Parkview Whitley Hospital , Columbia City.
Born on September 9, 1926, in Henry County, she was the daughter of Harold and Sylvia Serena Rebecca (Scott) Gregory. 
She graduated from Larwill High School with the Class of 1944.
On June 10, 1950, she married Malcolm Hugh Trump on the family farm in Richland Township, Whitley County . A lifetime Whitley County resident, she was employed by Farmers Loan and Trust Company after graduation until the early 1950's.
A wife and mother raising 3 children, she retired as manager of the Whitley County Branch of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles in 1989 with 17 years of service. She was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church and she served as treasurer of the Whitley County Republican Party for several years.
Survivors include her children, Charles Trump, Rebecca Dahms and Thomas (Rebecca) Trump all of Columbia City; grandsons, Travis (Jennifer) Dahms and Adam Trump; granddaughters, Angela (Joe) Sheets and Claire Trump; great-grandsons, Tyler and Justin Sheets; sisters, Marian Gregory of Columbia City and Helen (Wendell) Buntain of Las Cruces, New Mexico; brother-in-law, Hal (Roberta) Trump of Columbia City; sister-in-law, Suzanne Heingartner of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Malcolm H. Trump, who died July 11, 2008.
Visitation is Sunday, November 9, 2008, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home in Columbia City. Funeral service is Monday, November 10, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Curtiss Johnson officiating.
Memorials may be given in memory of Mrs. Trump to the American Heart and Stroke Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
