Kenneth M. Wolfe, 57, of Columbia City, died at 8:20 p.m. Sunday, December 28, 2008 at the Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. He had been in failing health for the past year.
He was born October 26, 1951 in Columbia City, Indiana a son of Kenneth M. and Marianne (Waters) Wolfe. His formative years were spent in Columbia City. He graduated from Columbia City Joint High School in 1970.
He worked at Dana Corp. in Fort Wayne a few years and North American Van Lines for a few years before moving to Dallas, Texas where he drove truck and later operated a moving company.
On December 21, 1991 he was united in marriage to Cynthia A. (Watkins) Click. In 2004 they moved to Columbia City.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Cindy; two sons, Ken (Tammy) Wolfe Jr. of Columbia City and Jason Wolfe at home; a step daughter, Kristy (Chester) Hickman of Texas; three grandchildren, Jacob & Hannah Wolfe, and Hailey Hickman; and three brothers, Kerry “Skip” Wolfe, Kelly Wolfe and Kevin Wolfe, all of Columbia City.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. The burial will be in Eberhard Cemetery. The visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
