Kevin D. Brudi, 35, a former resident of Churubusco and more recently of Chandler, Arizona, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2008 from injuries related to a motocross accident. He had lived in Churubusco until moving to Arizona in 2002. 
He was born in Fort Wayne on January 30, 1973, a son of Ken Gaff and the late Karen Jean (Trahin) Brudi. His father resides in North Carolina.
As a child he moved from Fort Wayne to Churubusco, and graduated from Churubusco High School in 1992. After moving to Arizona, he became the owner-operator of a tool and die company in Phoenix, and recently purchased a second company in Tucson.
The surviving relatives include his sister Kelly (Tim) Robertson of Oro Valley, Arizona; his nephews Trey and Trevor Robertson; a grandmother Marilyn Trahin of Columbia City; an aunt Ladonna (Joel) Hoehn of Ossian; his uncles Randy (Diane) Gaff of Churubusco, Dan (Brenda) Trahin of Arcola, Rick (Brenda) Trahin of Leo, John (Peggy) Trahin of Larwill, Bob (Cindy) Trahin of Columbia City, Tim Trahin of Fort Wayne, and Rod (Kate) Trahin of Arcola; and many cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 29, 2008, at 7 p. m. at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco.
The family will receive friends at the mortuary on Monday, December 29, 2008, from 1 to 3 and from 5 p. m. until the service time at 7 p. m.
