Scot A. Smith, 41, of Columbia City, died at 2:12 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at his home.
He was born August 25, 1967 in Noble County, Indiana a son of Robert and Ruth (Eis) Smith. His formative years were spent in the Roann area. He attended Northfield High School, Wabash County.
On December 8, 2001 he was united in marriage to Sarah Ashcraft. They made their home in South Whitley moving to Columbia City in 2003.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Sarah; two daughters, Seria and Larysa Smith of Columbia City; his mother and step-father, Ruth and Robert Harris of North Manchester; three step-brothers, Tony (Jennifer) Harris, Jay (Teresa) Smith and Rob Smith.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 16 at South Park Annex Cemetery,

205, Columbia City with Rev. James A. Clifford officiating. Arrangements are by Smith and Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City.
