Thomas E. Riordan, 71, of a resident of Miller’s Merry Manor, Huntington, died at 4:02 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2009 at Parkview Huntington Hospital, where he had been admitted on Wednesday.
He was born November 16, 1937 in Howard County, Indiana a son of James H. and Virginia (Binnion) Riordan. His formative years were spent in Huntington.
Surviving relatives include two brothers, James (Elaine) Riordan, Jr. of Garden Grove, California, and Michael (Vicki) Riordan of Fort Wayne; two sisters, Virginia (Kurt) Wall, Coppell, Texas, and Margaret Crouch of Syracuse.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Riordan.
The Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, January 12, 2009, at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church, Columbia City, with Father Larry Kramer as the officiant. Burial took place in the Catholic Cemetery, Columbia City.
Arrangements were handled by Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City.
