John W. Flory, 83

John W. Flory, 83, lifelong Noble County farmer, died at 1 a.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at his home.
He was born August 14, 1925 in Albion, Indiana a son of Cassius and Ada (Pippinger) Flory. A lifelong resident of Noble County, he graduated from Wolf Lake High School.
On September 22, 1945 he was united in marriage to Lorene M. Dominy. They always made their home on a farm in Noble Township. Mrs. Flory died in June 26, 1993.
In addition to grain and dairy farming, he began driving school bus for Wolf Lake Schools and 18 years later retired driving bus for Central Noble Schools.
Surviving relatives include a son, Greg (Candace) Flory and a daughter, Patricia (Ralph) Butler, both of Albion; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Ginger Reichard.
A private family service will be held at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. The burial will be in Thorn Cemetery, Ormas.
