Jerry E. Martin, 64, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2009, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Born in Fort Wayne, he was an electrician with Dana Corporation for 34 years, retiring in 2002. He was a member of Fellowship Missionary Church and Model A Club of Fort Wayne, and was an U.S. Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Martin of Fort Wayne; daughter, Michelle (Steve) Lindeman of Fort Wayne; son, Mike Martin of Fort Wayne; his beloved sunshine and best friend, his granddaughter, Noelle Lindeman; siblings, Jo (Clarence) Boring of Silver Lake, Janice (Larry) Foster of Fort Wayne, Paul Martin of Greentown, Donnie (Lynn) Martin of Columbia City, Deena (Mike) Dillion of Zanesville; several nieces and nephews; and many many friends.
Service is 10 a.m. Friday at Fellowship Missionary Church, 2536 E Tillman Road, with calling one hour prior. The Rev. David N. DeSelm officiating. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Ave. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
