A service is being planned for Saturday, April 4, at 1:15 p.m. to remember Robert Haworth, the late son of Richard “Dick” Haworth of Columbia City. The service will be held at Columbia City United Methodist Church.
Haworth, 56, of Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis.
He was born October 28, 1952, in Angola, to Richard and Betty (Vannice) Haworth.
He worked for Commercial Credit Group as a District Sales Manager. He graduated from Purdue University in 1976, was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity, and also served on their board of directors.
He is survived by his father, Richard (& Norma) Haworth of Columbia City; a brother, William Haworth of Indianapolis; and a sister, Diane Haworth of Holland, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Vannice Haworth.
