Logan Richard Maloney, 20, of Columbia City, died Sunday, May 17, 2009.
He was born July 27, 1988 in Columbia City, Indiana a son of William and Sherry (Carpenter) Maloney. His formative years were spent in Churubusco. In 2004 he moved to Columbia City and graduated from Columbia City High School.
Surviving relatives include his mother and step-father, Sherry & Bob Sausaman of Columbia City; a sister, Sarah (Will) Long of Arlington, Texas; a brother, Mitchell Maloney of Columbia City; and his grandparents, Marilyn Maloney of Fort Wayne, Judy Bowers of Columbia City and Walt & Jeanne Carpenter of Columbia City.
He was preceded in death by his father and a grandfather, Richard Maloney.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. The burial will be in South Park Annex Cemetery. The visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
