Cruz Alejandro "Ethan" Combs, 1, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away at 2:33 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2009 at University Hospital in San Antonio. 

Born on May 20, 2008, in Columbia City, he was the son of Sarah R. Combs.

Survivors include his mother, Sarah R. Combs of San Antonio, Texas; a brother, Gary G. Combs of San Antonio; sisters, two sisters, Serinidee T. and Phaleisha A. Combs both of San Antonio; maternal grandmother, JoEllen Scott of South Whitley; maternal grandfather, Samule W. Scott, of San Antonio; great-grandparents, Norman and Uva Lesley of Columbia City; great-grandmother, Lillian Scott of Columbia City; and an uncle, Jason Edward Scott of South Whitley. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2009, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, Columbia City.   Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at the funeral home with Pastor Thomas Beers of Columbia City Church of the Nazarene officiating.  Burial will follow at South Park Annex Cemetery, Columbia City.
