Margie Green, 63, of Thorncreek Township, Whitley County, died at 3 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2009 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne where she was admitted Tuesday, July 28. She had been in failing health for the past two years. 
She was born February 5, 1946, in Gauge, Kentucky, a daughter of Tom and Reva (Jackson) Mullins. Following her graduation from Breathitt High School in 1964, she moved to Indiana.
On April 10, 1965, she was united in marriage to Loye Green. They made their home in Columbia City for three years before moving to Thorncreek Township. Mr. Green died January 1, 2004.
She was employed at Chamberlain Products, Fibre Form, Blue Bell and Dana in Columbia City.
Her memberships included Keith Memorial Tabernacle Church in Salyersville, Kentucky.
Surviving relatives include three children, Angela Green, Greg (Monica) Green and Ryan (Tiffany) Green, all of Columbia City; five grandchildren, Cody Sunday, Kohltin & Bailey Green, Hailie & Hanna Green; four brothers, Ray Mullins and Melvin Mullins, both of Columbia City, Ola Mullins of Fort Wayne and Alvin Mullins of Salyersville, Kentucky; and three sisters, Wanda Ritchie of Columbia City, Wilma Lee Howard of Foraker, Kentucky, and Norma Jean Back of Salyersville, Kentucky.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Delmar Mullins.
The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. The burial will be in Stough Cemetery. The visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
