Martha Jane Eberhardt, 87, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2009, at her Fort Wayne residence.

 

Born in Norwalk, Ohio, she was the daughter of Albert and Henrietta (Miller) Reynolds.

 

She married Peter Eberhardt on Aug. 1, 1943. He preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and member of First Wayne Street United Methodist Church and Daughters of the American Revolution.

 

She was a loving mother and cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 

She is survived by two daughters, Nancy (James R.) Byork of Richmond, Virginia, and Kathleen (Gary) Zimpelman of Columbia City; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

 

Graveside service is 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Woodlawn Cemetery, Norwalk, Ohio, with Pastor James R. Byork officiating. Memorials to First
