Norma Jean Brown, 66

Norma Jean Brown, 66, of Columbia City, passed away at 3:45 a.m. Thursday, November 26, 2009, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN.  
Born on February 2, 1943 in Albion , MI , she was the daughter of Casper and Ruth (Caldwell) Brown.
She attended school until 8th grade. She lived in Michigan, Alabama, Indiana and Florida.  A retired factory worker, she enjoyed her family, quilting, sewing and cooking.
Survivors include her 3 daughters, Paula Ann (Tom) Zumbrun of Columbia City, Peggy Sue (Robert Saylor) Kidney of Marshall, Michigan, and Pamela Jane (David) Kidney of Coldwater, Michigan; 1 son, Charles Floyd (Melissa) Miller of Stockwood, Alabama; brothers and sister, Billy (Nancy) Brown of Portage, Michigan, Sunny Kay Parker of Burlington, Michigan, and Casper Brown, Jr. of Michigan; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, William J. Miller, and several brothers & sisters. 
At the request of Mrs. Brown's family, there will be no visitation or service.  Memorial gifts may be given in Mrs. Brown's memory to Riley Hospital for Children. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
