Patti Gamble, 45
Patti Gamble, 45, of Columbia City died following a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was a 1982 graduate of Columbia City High School. 
On February 27, 1996, she married Galen D. Gamble. She was a devoted mother to her son Garet.
She is survived by her husband, Galen D. Gamble and 12-year-old son, Garet Gamble of Columbia City; mother, Patsy Bechtold of Fort Wayne; brother, Ron Bechtold of Larwill; cherished sister, Karla (Steven) Stolz of Columbia City; brother, Monte (Dana) Bechtold; and father, Carl Bechtold of Huntington. In addition to her family she leaves behind her close friend Susan (Snider) Brown of Columbia City. She was a loving aunt to eleven nieces and twelve nephews.
At Mrs. Gamble's request there will be no viewing or services. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, Columbia City.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial contributions be made to the education and care fund for her son Garet, c/o DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City, IN. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home.
