Carter Lee Evans, newborn
Carter Lee Evans, eight days old, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Dupont Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Born on January 24, 2010, in Fort Wayne, he is the beloved son of Robert J. and Shannon Marie (Mills) Evans of Columbia City. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Maddison M. Evans and a brother, Cameron J. Evans both of Columbia City; grandparents, Rick and Tammy Mills of Larwill, Robert and Barbara Evans of Columbia City; great-grandparents, LaVan and Barb Mills of Montpelier, Frank and Pauline Rice of Upland, Indiana, and Ruth Sitton of Arcola.
A sister, Kathryn Marie Evans, preceded him in death on May 18, 2002.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. with one hour of calling prior to the service on Monday, February 8, 2010 at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Troy Presbyterian Cemetery in rural Whitley County.
