Freddie Wayne Arnold, 54, rural Columbia City, died Tuesday, February 2, 2010.
He was born April 6, 1955 in Warsaw, Indiana a son of Harold I. and Phyllis J. (Ewers) Arnold. His formative years were spent in He graduated from Columbia City Joint High School.
He was employed at North American Van Lines, Auto Bumper Exchange in New Haven, was a life insurance agent and real estate agent, recently working with Myers Lawn Service.
His memberships included the Due Guard Lodge #278 Free & Accepted Masons.
Surviving relatives include two sisters and a brother, Linda (Lynn) Orcutt of Larwill, Joseph Lee (Sherry) Arnold and Rita (H. Kent “Nub”) Waugh, both of Columbia City; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents preceded him in death.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. The visitation will be from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
A Masonic service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Friday by the Due Guard Lodge #278 F. & A. M.
The burial will be in Thorn Cemetery, Ormas with military honors presented by Whitley County Korean War Veterans Honor Guard.
Preferred memorials are to Riley Children’s Hospital.
