Martin Keith Ousley, 46
Martin Keith Ousley, 46, of Columbia City, died at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at his home. He had been in failing health since April 2001.
He was born August 17, 1963 in Columbia City, Indiana a son of Claude and Vonda E. (Tillman) Ousley. At the age of 5, his family moved to Union Township, Whitley County from Pierceton. He graduated from Columbia City Joint High School, Olivet Nazarene College and Indiana State University, majoring in Geology.
On August 18, 1990 he was united in marriage to Teresa R. Dillander. They made their home in Clarksville until 1995 when they moved to Arnold, Missouri. In the Summer of 2005 they moved to their home in Columbia City.
He was employed at Defense Mapping Agency in Louisville, Kentucky until 1993, the United States Postal Service in Louisville from 1993 – 1994 and retired in 2005 from National Geo-Spacial Agency with 10 years of service.
His memberships included New Hope Wesleyan Church.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Teresa; two sons, Ryan Ousley and Adam Ousley, both at home; his parents, Claude & Vonda Ousley of Columbia City; and three sisters, Janie (Curt) Salisbury of Prestonsburg KY, Brenda (Rick) Reynolds and Teri (Chad) Fields, both of Columbia City.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. The burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. The visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at New Hope Wesleyan Church, 971 N 400 W, Columbia City.
Preferred memorials are to New Hope Wesleyan Church.
