Willis L. Baker, 85
Willis L. Baker, 85, of Columbia City, died at 3:20 p.m. Sunday, May 16, 2010 at The Oaks Living Center where he had been a resident since January 1999. 
He was born May 17, 1924 in Mark Center, Ohio a son of William Roy and Lottie (Goller) Baker. He graduated from Mark Center High School.
During World War II he served in the United States Navy Air Corps.
He was employed at General Electric in Fort Wayne, district manager for American Motors in Chicago, owned & operated a printing shop in Toledo, Ohio and retired from Day International in Three Rivers, Michigan.
Surviving relatives include two sons and a daughter, David C. Baker of Tri Lakes, Phillip Baker of Fort Myers FL and Susan Beaty; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a great great granddaughter.
The funeral service will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City with an hour of visitation prior to the service at the funeral home. The burial will be in South Park Annex Cemetery.
Preferred memorials are to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
