Helen R. Rossiter, 80
Helen R. Rossiter, 80, of Tri-Lakes, Columbia City, died at 10:06 a.m. Monday, July 12, 2010 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Columbia City. 
She was born December 9, 1929 in Allen County, Indiana a daughter of August and Esther (Blessing) Bercot. She spent her formative years in Allen County and graduated from Arcola High School in 1948.
On April 11, 1953 she was united in marriage to Marvin W. Rossiter. In 1957, they made their home at Tri-Lakes, Columbia City. Mr. Rossiter died September 14, 1972.
Her employment history includes, 2 years at St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne, child care services at her home and in 1969 she began her employment the former Weatherhead, Columbia City.
She was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Surviving relatives include three sons, Martin (Cindy) Rossiter, South Whitley, Marvin (Lisa) Rossiter, Larwill and Marlin Rossiter, Columbia City; a daughter, Marina (Todd) Fowler, South Bend; 7 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Jewel.
In honor of Mrs. Rossiter’s wishes, there will no visitation or funeral.
