Richard "Rich" Lee Clouse, 65

Richard "Rich" Lee Clouse, 65, of Columbia City, passed away at 3:33 p.m. Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.  
Born on July 6, 1945 in Kendallville, Noble County, he was the son of Wilber "Pete" Raymond and Bernice Eloise (Kitson) Clouse.
Rich spent his lifetime in northern Indiana and southern Michigan moving to the Tri Lakes area in 2001.  He graduated from Columbia City High School with the Class of 1963 and enlisted in the United States Army during the Korean War, serving in Germany.  
On November 6, 2001 he married Shirley Ann Clem in Barbados.  
He was a salesman for 45 years and was a member of the American Legion Post #98, NRA and Pheasant's Forever.  His hobbies included Nascar, Colts, IU basketball, fishing, pheasant and mushroom hunting.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ann Clouse of Columbia City; daughters, Sheri Sue (Gary) Schaefer of Spencerville, Terri Lee (Nick) Kitchen of Leo and Sheri Lynn (Mike) Stockman of Fort Wayne; 3 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Sharon (Don) Pequignot of Columbia City and Shirley (Tom) Crist of Rome City; brother, Mike (Nancy) Clouse of Albion; several nieces and nephews and mother-in-law, Mollie Clem of Columbia City.  
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilber "Pete" Raymond and Bernice Eloise Clouse, Charlie and Mary Kirkpatrick, father-in-law, Louis Clem, 1 brother, John D. Carson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 24, 2010 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.  Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the funeral home with Rev. Rob Farris, of the Church of the Nazarene, Farmland, officiating. Entombment with graveside military rites by American Legion Post #98 will follow at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
